Leighton is a 17-year-old senior at San Ramon Valley High School. She has a passion for medicine and will pursue a pre-med track in college. Leighton is also interested in nutrition and exercise, and spends most of her free time lifting weights, running, doing yoga, or creating healthy recipes. Additionally, she dedicates a lot of her time towards volunteering; Leighton is Vice President of Pledge to Humanity at SRV, a well known community service organization in the East Bay, as well as a board member for the California Scholarship Federation (CSF). Leighton was a member of the National Charity League for 4 years and held a leadership position every year. She was also a part of the Track & Field team for two years and is on the SRV Cheerleading team for 2021. She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, reading, and being active. Leighton hopes to raise more awareness towards the importance of nutrition in a child’s diet during treatment while also uniting those within our local community and beyond to join in a mission to bring health, positivity, strength, and hope to kids battling cancer.
